We analyzed data from over 34,000 participants in the US and UK, revealing strong associations between specific gut bacteria and markers of cardiometabolic health and dietary habits.

2️⃣ Improved MetaPhlAn 4 taxonomic profiles of the 3,310 food metagenomes in cFMD, using the latest MetaPhlAn 4 marker genes database (vJan25).
This update is the result of collaborative efforts across our research community.

1️⃣ Incorporation of the MAGs added in the previous version (v1.2.1) into MetaRefSGB vJan25, allowing definition of novel food SGBs and increased food SGB representation among cFMD MAGs (+117 prokaryotic SGBs; +2 eukaryotic SGBs)
