Does there ever come a time when people stop telling you what you should do? I'm well into my 30s & still getting a lot of unsolicited advice. I always assumed it would end when I became an adult, but the shoulds keep comin'.

Zodiac: less scary on the rewatch but still fumbled my keys when I got home after midnight
Klute: creepy & sweet with 2 great leads
Horses: sick & twisted & I loved it
Wanda: hard to watch desperation & hopelessness captured so beautifully

I've somehow never been to a book tour event, & I can't remember the last time I bought a hardcover book, but for @silviamg.bsky.social writing about witches, exceptions are made! Can't wait to start this one!

I would keep going a little bit? It's weird for a long time & then starts to hit, but I forget when.

I loved The Four Sisters Overlooking the Sea! I love everything of yours I've read, especially this, Liberty's Daughter, Better Living Through Algorithms (I send that story to everybody), & The Year Without Sunshine. I have Cat Pictures Please out from the library & can't wait to read it. You rule.

Whoever put "God Emperor of Dune (read the first 3 first)" is a little bit my enemy.

The wild thing for me about reading the short fiction on the day of is I keep crying at the end of almost every story & novelette. I'm having such an emotionally weird day & must remember to read earlier in the future!

My personal favourite is cryptidcore. I just want to read a book/game/thing that seems like it could have a cryptid in it. Potential Cryptid Energy is what I'm after.

It's been a big Paul Newman week & I'm HAPPY.

Seconding white dwarf! I'm a big fan of Cross & Crows, & pulp fiction has a really fun scifi section. I've found some weird mass market paperbacks there, which are my favourite. If you voyage to New West, Wild Fires, Groove Cat, & Orange Crush Velvet are all great.
