Reminder: Boudoir is inherently political. Taking spicy selfies is political. Both are all about reclaiming your power and ownership over your body, and refusing to shrink or hate yourself.

If you feel too awkward to take a spicy photo, you’re not doing it wrong. You’re probably doing it right! That awkwardness is the space between old shame and new power.

A boudoir client once told me that I shouldn't talk about my own struggles with my body because it would make clients not trust me. I think that's bullshit.

Why wouldn't you want a boudoir photographer who deeply, personally understands how delicate the relationship with your body can be?
