I'm afraid we have lost that too. I doubt Trump will even allow the midterms to happen. Plus, protesting is now legit dangerous...either troops will be called out and ordered to fire or some nutcase will shoot at the protesters on his own.

Someone should follow the example of Mary Chesnut in the Civil War and keep a diary of every day of the Trump regime (I won't call it an administration because he's here to stay). Sort of a historical legacy thing.
