Stubhub is highway robbery. Tickets were $33 at the venue website but it sold out. Reseller is asking $73. Stubhub is adding $36 in service fees PER TICKET so the final price is **$108.25** a $75 markup.

Shovel guy: the day of the little snow (not the one with 6 in, the one with <1 inch) I’m making brunch and there’s scraping in front of my house. Assume it’s a neighbor. Then realize it’s close. Peek out and see a guy there. Then he starts shoveling. When I open the door he says “you need shovel”.

Which is weirder?
- the guy who randomly started shoveling snow on my front stairs and when questioned basically ran away
- the food runner who applied for the business analyst position I have open

Apples in the dehydrator

Today was day 1/5 off work. 10 apples (out of the 30lbs I bought at the farmers market) cored, peeled, and dehydrating!

Today is a breakfast and second breakfast kind of day. French toast and listening to INXS with SmallFry then brunch and conversation with friends. All those calories shall now be spent on hedge trimming.

Ugh cats. I keep having grand plans to get up and do things and those nefarious beasties know and the minute I’m about to stand up there’s one on my lap.

But I got some really good work stuff done. Because I couldn’t stand up and do house stuff.

Not sure what I accomplished today. I got the Wordle in 3? I got stereo cat snuggles? I planned a playdate? Meh.

Fair enough ;)

But sometimes I (gasp!) miss a typo and find it deeply embarrassing :(

It’s been a part of our lives for a long time! For me I’m nervous because of groups… where will I get my Buy Nothing fix?!

Today I did all the management crap at work - development plans for the new guys, RR&Es for the established folks, and farmed out some backlog items. Also worked more on my (very long) setlist.fm concert list, cleaned up my desk, and put away books. Productivity FTW.

Spent time with a dear friend and met two new ones, ate well, enjoyed time outside, and accomplished things on the home front. Sunday success!
