If you have kept up then you already know I’ve been recovering, I’m here and physically I’m active again kinda

I had cashews and pecans recently at a local pub and enjoyed some whiskey with my childhood friend before getting to go house sit for my mother in-law

Diverticulitis that spreaded throughout the entirety of my intestines and infected the entire area and all because I thought I wasn’t allowed to have just peanut it’s no I’m not allowed to have any nuts at all because they’ll get stuck in a pocket and ferment inside of me

Okay so I’ve recovered from overexecersizing worth my babystep stretches

Still feeling motivated and ready to get better!

Post emergency massive medical operation, I’m still alive everyone! I’m just watching Jesse and Dodger on their geekenders podcast and am still in severe pain but apparently I should be fine unless something sneaks up on me. 😥

I’m very scared and nervous tbh apparently the infection has been spreading

So I’ve received the worst news today from the scans taken this morning and it turns out I’m going to need an operation done on me to fix whatever is going on ;-;

“You are a big strong man if you can wipe at home you can wipe here.”

Let me tell you what asking for help already hurt enough so I was crying when she walked away, five minutes later a different nurse I recognized who’s been nice to me checked did a daily check up and saw me

So I used the bathroom for the first time in three days and I was struggling because I couldn’t…. Reach to wipe because I was just in that much pain and it was incredibly embarrassing so I had called out for help.

A nurse comes in I didn’t recognize and asked what’s wrong and I said I needed help ⬇️

I wasn’t going to share this originally because it’s so embarrassing…

I’ve been in the hospital for a few days because of diverticulitis flare ups and abdominal discomfort and pains.

I went to the bathroom for the first time in three days because I’ve been on an all liquid diet. Please read below⬇️

For every great nurse there’s always a mean one, be kind to those nice nurses.

I genuinely try, I’m an adult and I still apologize to my peers for cursing whenever I slip up.

Although I’m making plenty of progress recovering I was just told I may not be able to leave until Friday and I guess visibly I looked up so the motherly nurse offered me a lemon shaved ice 😭

I’ve just had the sweetest and kind nurses

Good news I can walk now!

Bad news not moving for a day and a half in a hospital bed sucks and my breathing is terrible 😭

It hurts to laugh and I can’t stop laughing send help 😭
