Cars have degraded our entire economy, environment, culture, and lives. Forced car dependency makes us poorer, less healthy, and less connected to our neighbors.

The first step of a cure is to recognize that we have a car problem.

This amazing PSA from 1973 could be used today in every City in Canada.

What it is: An old, crusty talking point they keep re-serving. How it works: Like “cutting red tape” – it’s been dry for ages, but they hope you’ll still trip over it. It’s sticky, watch your step! 4 – Dysentery: Icon of a brown splatter. What it is: It’s gone viral! This BS is everywhere – your feed, your TV, work talk. How it works: Like the Alberta Pension Plan push: relentless, unavoidable, and makes you feel sick. 5 – Calf: Icon of a baby cow. What it is: Sounds innocent enough, but this little calf is growing fast. How it works: Like “Alberta should handle its own policing.” It’s gaining traction, and it’s got a kick you won’t see coming. 6 – Steer: Icon of a full-grown brown steer. What it is: This one’s a full-grown steer – big, powerful, and charging. How it works: Like “we’re being treated unfairly by Ottawa!” It’s got serious momentum and is pushing real changes. 7 – Buckin’ Bull: Icon of a bucking bull mid-jump. What it is: Hold onto your hats! This bull is bucking wildly. How it works: Flip-flops, gaslighting, and outright lies. They can’t keep their story straight, and it’s a dizzying ride of contradictions. 8 – Stampede: Icon of a bucking cowboy riding a bull in motion. What it is: Full-blown chaos! The BS is a flood, and you’re caught in the stampede. How it works: Push polls, twisted news, and everyone’s being subtly nudged to agree. It’s hard to think straight when everyone’s running.

Bicycle repair station that is in a bit of disrepair. The pump stopped working almost immediately and was never fixed, most of the tools are there but it's the sockets that are one of the better parts of it.
