I suppose with the rainy season coming in, it would be nice to have a rain jacket that isn’t my old uniform OCP. The uniform one is amazing for working in the yard in the rain, but I am trying to move away from that old identity.

Found last year’s leftover styles on sale and snagged a good one.

Now we are beyond the 30 day mark for a simple request to get a new primary care doctor at the VA. That’s fun. Surely all that efficiency will kick in here shortly.

I live on a fairly busy road, which has its advantages and disadvantages. Today I put out the kids’ old bikes with “free” signs on them for someone else to enjoy. It was under 5 minutes before someone stopped and was really excited to get them. I hope their kids enjoy the bikes.

I grew up on a large family dairy farm. He spent his early years on the land we plan to go back to, farming sheep and speaking Irish. His family is still there. So we are familiar but it’s been a minute. His family would be a great help and happy to have him back I’m sure.
