Also playing Soul Hackers 2 I’m reminded about existence of these tv series. Back in the day while playing first Devil Summoner on psp I found it on NicoNico. Wish they released a modern one, but please, don’t make it persona-like

The more I play Soul Hackers 2 the more I remember the first one. I mean it’s not bad, it’s enjoyable. I just wish it kept a more old school feel of the first one or at least leaned towards the mainline SMT instead of going Persona direction.

Original anime explicitly aiming to bring back Non Non Biyori by gathering much of its core staff, with neat additions like Hajime Mitsuda in charge of the animation. It's hard to recreate works where everything clicks seamlessly but their goal is a good one
