I live north of Murrayfield, and in my experience anyone within a couple of kilometres of Murrayfield is basically at the Oasis gig this evening. Incredibly loud.

Managed to see The Ballad Of Wallis Island before it disappears from cinemas. I laughed. I cried. In actual fact, I mainly sobbed. I cry at most things, but this really struck a chord, films about the effects of music, and the associated affections, always leave me absolutely reeling. Loved it 😍

I was being facetious! However, I do think the accuracy of weather forecasts are generally poor. 12 hours of accuracy in a very settled weather pattern is hardly rocket science, basic weather lore could predict that.

It's been a busy couple of weeks, so only just finished watching Dept Q. It's been a tremendous watch, excellent characters, a great plot and an excellent cast.

It also happens to have been shot in a great city! I very much enjoyed seeing the streets (and beaches) I live, walk and work on. #DeptQ

Because it's basically all made up? I use at least four different sources of, and I am obsessed with the variations in the weather forecasts. At the very best, an interpretation of the data. There's a lot of vague hedging of bets. Meteorology is closer to astrology than science.

'Kidnapped' is an absolutely cracking story for all ages and is well worth a read. It's also a great audio book for families to enjoy together.
