Why is this happening? Oklahoma has tens of thousands of abandoned, unplugged oil wells.

When oil companies dispose of wastewater by injecting into the ground, those wells provide pathways for the waste to shoot thousands of feet to the surface, contaminating drinking water sources along the way.

I've been saying for awhile (8 years?) that this GOP is not my father's GOP.

They didn't understand that "this isn't your parent's GOP" is exactly why Biden won. Because comparing Trump to Reagan is to almost all conservatives, an in kind donation to Trump.

But pointing out the voters principles weren't what changed, it was the party that broke their pledge to them, works.

When did being mean become cool?

The Walton family (who own Walmart) are worth over $400 billion, yet many of their employees are on SNAP.

Bezos is worth over $400 billion, many Amazon employees require SNAP.

The people who need help are not the problem.

It’s corporate greed. It’s an unwillingness to pay a living wage.

Whenever people complain about the number of folks relying on food stamps, it is worth reminding them that SNAP is, by too large of a degree, a subsidy for corporations that refuse to pay a living wage and their political allies who reject public policy prescriptions to reduce income inequality.
