It helps when the writing of another novel begins. The story fleshed out with major charchters fully displayed in the conversations shared with each other as I watch and listen. A conscious dream-state, leading to sleep. Kinda like happens when I write to posted images or thoughts of other creatives

Dynamic.... the unbound sky at end of day, as clouds and sunset play games of tag. To night they run as day winds down. Tomorrow's dawn to start the chase once more.

I carry several in my mind at all times. Enjoy reading them at night, while dreaming....

I realize people feel a need to rise to act against tyrannical practices, and acknowledge the value in speaking out in opposition to cruelty. With opposite efforts made. To be calm in manner. United in community. Condem weak souls by standing firm in the face of their acting out.

It is imperative we move ahead with justice sought for all. Accountability for those standing outside the law. To take what is witnessed into courts of Law. To trust the founding Fathers (and Mothers) to right the Ship of State before it founders on a harsh and unforgiving shore....

There are moments that shake the foundation stones of societal integrity on which a house is built, stone by stone. Brick by brick. Board by board. It does not live until filled with the lifeblood of family, friends, and outcasts taken in. We are shaken by recent events. Stirred to righteous action.

The rise of mankind's inner beast is brought about by twisted words one would find absurd in a dime-store novel. But fuel the inner fire of those seeking to strike out against a system they believe unfair to their being able to thrive by doing nothing, other then hating others who are getting ahead.

I am the watcher from the wall, or shore, keeping safe my family and friends (sleeping in, like lazy cats) while guarding mornings soft (freaking cold!!!) break of light. Shield in hand. (fingers frozen to the strap) Spear at the ready. (could use some coffee) Eyes fixed on horizons edge. Sigh. Brrr

I will never smoke my winter storm weed early.... again! Like, no way maannn....

Keeping out what's outside looking in. Thin sheets of sand, forged into glass, through which pass rays of winter-chilled light. I shiver in dreaded anticipation, palm touching same, as a chill runs through my spine. It's time. To leave void the space I'm standing in and venture out to claim the day.

When dark clouds obscure the horizon's edge and small animals scurry past ones feet, the guardians of the pack rise up to meet the threat head on....

I sense a change in the wind.... a scent of something wild and untoward. A rustling of feet through grass. A thin vibration that plucks the strings of my instincts harp. What this way comes, I do not know, but rise to meet it i will go.

Just tried doing the same with my beard. Ouch. Not because it hurt to do it, which it did, but because my loving wife reached out and flicked my ear, telling me to stop it. Then she sighed, rolled her eyes, and went back to editing my latestveork in progress.

If only, in these times of wondrous outreach programs, ignorance, bias, self-importance could be minimized if not eradicated by compassion, caring, concern, care, and cooperation. To cling to what makes us stronger, together.... respect, and most importantly, love.

I wanted to stand up and speak out. To voice opinions against the flow of those who said go along to get along. But choose instead to lower my head and bide the tides turned into storms. Too late to stem the loss of rights acquired through others sacrifice. Too late the soldier, to my eternal shame.

You are a true creative.... worthy of attention by other crestives. A view of the world uniquely your own, shared openly, without expectation of anything beyond adding your notes to the universal song....
