Ambisonics shootout today! Putting my DIY’d ambisonics microphone up against a Sennheiser Ambeo VR. The DIY one cost about 10x less to build than to buy the Sennheiser model, so let’s see if there’s a 10x difference in sound!

guitar day! the JVM can sometimes get a bit of a bad rep, but i think it’s super versatile. big fan of the transformerless SM57 + royer R121 combo too, the low end on these chuggy guitars sounds massive! #audioengineer #recording #marshall

immersive recording pt. 2 i tracked a 35 piece choir last week using a decca tree and ambisonics microphone, it was a lot of fun and the atmos mix sounds great!
