You'd have to speak to a banker, but you would need a minimum $500 to open a TSFA, and can max contribute $7000/year to it. You can set the TFSA to pull X amount of money ($50 as an example) from a chequing/savings account. You can also have the TSFA choose mutual funds, either S&P 500 or TSX.

Whatever you can throw into a RRSP or TFSA, do what you can. And if you can apply for the disability tax credit, too. I'm tired of doing things right and my taxes go up; once I learned how to play the financial game, oh boy, CRA didn't care much for it.

I find for myself, unless it's a movie like Romulus or Predator: Badlands (any good sci-fi movie) and I make a dinner of it, I'll skip and wait for a home release.
