I am absolutely horrible at drawing armour, so this piece will be a combination of me drawing armour, making it fantasy-based, and going so far from what armour looks like that I make something entirely different.

I like doing weekly challenges. 4 weeks of October, trying for one themed piece a week. It's also where I choose not to plan and freewheel. I personally believe these challenges should not be pre-arranged for artists and should have the fun of spontaneous illustration.

Thank you, I really hoped there would be a balance between the border and the tail. I'm glad it came out the way it did.

I might consider opening an Etsy store, or something non-Etsy but like it, to sell small postcard prints and the original pieces I've drawn.

Otherwise everything stays in my portfolio and never sees the light of day.

Oh daaaaamn, you got the gleam, especially with the tiger's eye!

But that's the fun part about writing, how it evoles until it's the image you knew you wanted deep down, but couldn't express at the beginning of the process.

I needed something to fill up the background, and hadn't used this red pen. So I thought it was a good time to use the pen and make the swirls as I went into wind down mode on this one and bring it to a close. 💙

I have to redo my website.

I won't put *all* my artwork on it (I might have separate areas for older works or the sacred mushrooms) but it's time to get back to having an active and actual website.
