Oh goodness, how kind! NEV was definitely a passion project. Amid the bioethical and capitalist commentary, it was very important to me that it struck a heartfelt message at its core. I'm very pleased that a lot of readers like you picked up on that, and largely satisfied with it as a story!

The imagery and poetic rhythm of this one feels like a children’s rhyme being chanted underwater. The premise is really fun to scratch: hey what if you believed in God so hard you became one?

too many limbs, too many phalanges, and just when you think it can’t get worse, in comes the humble headbutt

A story of much needed perseverance and glorious hope, may this be a reflection of our future.
