Having to give my business up the first year I started turning a profit is like being forced to give a child up for adoption after forming a bond with it. I’m in debt, I can’t afford food, I’ve dug myself a hole by trying to force this business to survive after our house fire. That 1 event ruined my early adulthood and set me back so far with my business that I haven’t been able to recover, and it’s only getting worse.
