Went out yesterday to buy some records and have a couple of pints on the way back to the bus.

Put my bag down in the Roscoe and a couple asked me what they were. The family in the corner joined in.

Left 3 hours later in a taxi suitably refreshed.

The best nights are the unexpected ones.

I had a Yaket. A jacket made from Yak wool.

It was as amazing as it sounds.

Incidentally my mum calls me Steptoe cos that's the face I pull when I read something cos I need glasses.

I refer to them as my drinking gloves. Normal ones get wet on the glass.

Caught one of those Liverpool Narcos episodes last night.

My biggest takeaway of the whole thing was that during a 1980's stakeout the phone rings and the voice says 'take down this number. 0151...' and all I could think was that the dialling codes added the 1 in the mid-90's.
