A Facebook post from my dad saying “Bound for Lyon” with photos of my mum at the airport (I’ve covered her face with a heart emoji). One of their friends has left the following comment: “Lyon, a nice place, had been there once at Lyon hospital, saw a reattatchment of a thumb (trauma)”.

Every so often, I wish my folks and their pals weren’t all doctors.

That’s the OPPOSITE of a death threat, it’s a life encouragement and I heartily welcome it! X

I quite like how I can just pop in once a day and liberally sprinkle compliments about people’s outfits/dogs/eyebrows/music on their posts and then leave and not think about it again. Very few death threats (although not none 🤷‍♀️)

Oh I’m sure. Laurie Anderson told me about the two of them going to the Westminster Dog Show every single year. We all contain multitudes.

I read that he’d always addressed James Brown as “Mr Brown” even when they got to know one another quite well, so went with “Mr Reed”. I think that helped.
