Even more recently, I thought I’d try out a self tie for some photos, and discovered how meditative it is for me. Why restraint as therapy never even crossed my mind before is a mystery. But I’m looking forward to sharing my journey in this space.

He’s spent a lot of time now sourcing ropes, learning knots, watching tutorials, etc - and while it hasn’t entered very many of our scenes yet, it has become something we enjoy practicing together.

Restraint in more mainstream forms has always been a preferred part of intimacy for me, but my partner picked up an interest in shibari quite recently.
