We all have a different life experience. It’s one thing to be ignorant. It’s another to be stubbornly, willfully so. The latter leads to hatred. That hatred has been metastasizing quickly in recent years. To the point that masked men are openly disappearing people. Nazis have federal jobs now.

I am very grateful for the people in my life who did have patience and grace to talk to me about those things. Especially when I was younger. I’m a better person because of it. Helped me to understand how life is exponentially more difficult for people based upon their skin color.
