Also, as a Pagan, I was a little irked by the cliched duality of "You're either a Christian or an atheist" as if those were the only two games in town.
A minor irk cause it would have muddied the story being told.
I say this as a Pagan who has very little regard for Abrahamic monotheisms, but Fr Jud's phone call with Louise is a powerful example of what a Christian...of what a human...should be.

Excellent film. Another masterpiece from Rian.
The writing and acting were top notch.
Some of it is "I like a song by this band, I'm going to get their discography" and some of it is from promo CDs I got when I worked at Barnes & Noble and Borders.
The latter included a lot of "ambient music." Stuff that isn't bad, but not something I'd listen to during a workout.
Virtual de-hoarding.
A few months ago I started curating my mp3 collection for a good selection to put on my iphone but going through my collection realized I had a lot of albums I had zero interest in.
Hahahaha. Yeah "find lost dogs"
Right.
For those who may not get it.

Congratulations, Ring owners. You are all helping fascism for free.

Two years later we'd get Michael Keaton's Batman and Dolph Lundgren's Punisher.
07.02.2026 05:36 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0This film gets a lot of grief, but it was honestly the only game in town for large live action comic book adaptations.
What else did we have?
1970s Incredible Hulk
1970s Spider-Man
Greatest American Hero (not technically an adaptation, but was a fun show)
Condorman?
Here's one more example of the poor post-pro of this film.
The great city of Metropolis has a billboard advertising...New York's...#1 coffee.
And Metropolis also has Live Nude Revues.
And that's William Hootkins (with the mustache), the other Army guy who recruited Indy.
And behind him is Jim Broadbent.
Holy shit, that's Don Fellows, he was one of the Army guys who recruited Prof Jones to help locate the Ark.

I saw III and IV in theaters when they came out. Honestly don't remember what teen me thought of them. I must have liked them, I had a poster for III on my wall for a while

Any good skill takes some practice, whether it's model kits, jigsaw puzzles or drawing.
I'd heard that a terrorist who's loyal to 45 tried to assassinate Rep Omar the other day.
Hope she's okay.
She is truly a badass, standing up to the agent of a foreign power, and their continued efforts to destabilize the U.S.
Hey, did you know the VFW in Scarborough is pro-fascist?
They're opening their doors to the Trump Death Squads.
Just because someone claims to be a veteran doesn't mean they care about freedom.
Sometimes they just liked going to other countries and murdering people.
I've noticed a large trend in sites that go away from usability and features, in favor of ugly UI and pushing more ads.
This is why you can't trust these "tech bros."
They get an MBA and a sack of daddy's money but have no actual brains
It took far too long to find out where they hid my saved stations, too many "ads" for the fucking app.
Why try to convince people to use an app? Well, obviously cause browsers have ad-blockers.
I get into the office, get a cola and bring up IHeartRadio to listen to music as I sort through emails and find that site has completely revamped their layout.
And it looks fucking ugly.
How ugly? Someone basically had Spotify open on one screen and c&p their look over
