I've been rereading Something Wicked This Way Comes, by Ray Bradbury.
It's about two boys, Will and Jim, who face off against an evil carnival full of weird beings.
One of the rides is a carousel that can age you up or make you younger.
A temptation for Jim, who desperately wants to be an adult.

A challenge is that I sweat a lot on hikes. Esp when it's warm and sunny weather.
I have baseball caps that are hella fading from sun and sweat.

Maybe I just need to trick out one of my hats with some danglies.

I love my wolf headdress but like a fursuit heads, it's got crap visibility, so there's no way I'm wearing it on a hike. Bringing it on a hike for photo ops, sure. But actually walking a trail? Nope.

I only use this stuff to share photos. I don't trust these chucklefucks not to fuck up, so my primary storage is offline and backedup.

I used to use DeviantArt as a gallery for non-furry photos and art, like hiking trips or buckyball creations.
Then dA chose to promote AI thieves over actual content creators.

I might use Google Photos.
It's not perfect cause Google also uses the AI dildo to fuck people.

There is nothing in the app I want to spend a lot of money on, esp when they have arbitration clauses.
Forced arbitration is an unethical constriction. It's the company saying "We plan to do criminal/negligent things and want to make it harder to be held accountable."

MyFitnessPal did the same thing, after being consumed by UnderArmor.

I just use MFP to track calories. It's a pretty skin over a database that was user created.

Not because they had a paid tier. It's because they had a free and a paid tier and instead of adding new and innovative features to entice users to upgrade to free, they chose to strip away existing features from the free tier.
