AI will always be a threat to creatives—just look at the latest AI ‘publishing’ company—but I genuinely worry in the years to come with authors will have to give up in contracts negotiation to secure rights about keeping AI out of their work in Trad.

Underrated part of being an author is going into a bookstore and seeing so many books written by friends

Really brings it home how crazy it is to be in publishing that so many people I respect the work of are now peers

It’s been crazy to see the growth in this platform this past week. Huge influx of people

12k words written for the week, better than my usual 10k. With about 8 on one project then 4 on another. Hoping back between them seems to be keeping my pace a little higher than normal.

I can sympathize 💯 I pulled a book because it wasn’t the right thing to publish next. So now my next won’t be out until 2026 too. It’s…really odd to watch the release schedule pass by
