Send love to all of those who are unable to remember why they are caught in this generational trauma and loop of loss and destruction.

Expectations are tricky... sometimes you are aware of them, and sometimes you absolutely do not understand or realize that you have them. If you get your feelings hurt by someone's actions, get honest with yourself about what you had hoped would happen (expectations) & you can combat resentment.

Today, I am sad. My wife and I will attend a family member's wedding this weekend in a state we left because we did not feel safe there anymore. The desire to just be accepted and respected as a human being has always been our "agenda". Our lives will be on full display for all of their judgement.😒
