Our funding that we previously received from the Postcode Society Trust, thanks to the incredible support from players of #PeoplesPostcodeLottery, recently came to an end. We have been so grateful to receive the funding which helped with so many aspects of our vital work. See IG/FB for more.

Here at Juvenile Arthritis Research, we believe in science-backed, evidence-based research. We also raise awareness that children and young people can get arthritis as one of the most frustrating myths is around the idea that arthritis only affects older people.

A brilliant awareness-raising display at #Leeds children's hospital in their paediatric radiology department. Whilst we are fortunate to have many incredible #rheumatology teams in the UK, sometimes other departments are overlooked when it comes to raising awareness so this display is great to see.

Throwback to last summer and Taylor Swift's Eras Tour... for anyone reminiscing about last year, we still have our Taylor Swift inspired #JIA T-shirt in the JAR shop and this weekend it is FREEPOST weekend!

We’ve been working together with the University of Manchester Biomedical Research Centre to publish this article looking at stratified medicine. The article discusses how #methotrexate is still given as a first line treatment for #JIA for most children and young people despite the side-effects.

As #SmallCharityWeek draws to a close, we say a big thank you to our volunteer Natalie for creating all of the graphics for this week.
