I don’t know why the council don’t put in more ferry ports. That ferry could run from Speke, through Garston and all the way down the Mersey to town and beyond. It’s so under-utilised when it could be a real plus.

I fairly recently went on a tour of Lambeau Field home of the mighty Green Bay Packers. The day after a game they have an army of volunteers from the local area that clean the entire stadium. Not sure what perks they may or may not get other than the pleasure of feeling part of the team

Pretty sure I just pointed out that the money raised through ticket prices is a drop in the ocean and clubs make most of their revenue from tv. The price for a ticket at Bayern Munich costs from €15 to €80 for the best seats. There is no need for huge ticket price rises.

Higher ticket prices are buttons to a Premier league team that makes most of it’s money from TV revenue. But to fans in a working class city, hit by a harsh economic climate these seem like a bit tone deaf
