Flipping the Supreme Court was one of them. At the time, that’s what I wanted a Republican president to do, because I thought the GOP’s interpretation of the Constitution was correct.

I went the complete other direction after J6 have voted blue down the ballot since then (thankfully).

Proud to be part of the 1% (I was never a supporter of his, but used to be a conservative who simply celebrated the small “wins” he gave us until the insurrection sent me 180 degrees in the other direction)

This year, I’m going back to school and have a new job, but up top you can see this year’s reading list. Most of these are quite sizable, so it’ll take awhile- but no cost is too great to do my part to try and preserve our democracy.

My New Year’s resolution last year was to read one book every week of the year.

That was a bit too much, and I only ended up reading maybe ten, but it was so good to get back into reading.

Preferably without the bombing, but they can take Cheeto and co.

I will die on this hill. Even as a Republican, I felt that Mitt was right about them. Seeing the GOP bend the knee to Putin was one of my early warning signs that the GOP was compromised.

When I was a Republican, it was “apparent” to me that Russia backed Dems to make a weaker America.

As it turns out, Russia knew they couldn’t get a foothold in the dem party, so they convinced the GOP that to be anti-Russia is to be un-American.

The Dems’ biggest mistake was dismissing Romney.
