We made homemade pizzas for date night and are watching the Traitors finale.

I was so looking forward to this pizza I certainly ate too much.

I’ll admit, when I first heard them called “birdballs” years ago I chuckled.

Making them for dinner tonight and I just chuckled again.

Coca-Cola ham is legit.

I’ve been pretty hangry on this diet lately, so I’m looking forward to making pizzas on Friday.

But that’s so far away, so I’m going to make cornbread tonight!

Haven’t posted in a while because I’ve been dieting and the lack of calories has made me a grump.

On the bright side I’m a great cook, I’m down a belt loop size, and my beautiful wife just pinched my butt.

Spending Valentine’s weekend with my wife as chaperones at our nephew’s hockey jamboree while his parents are recovering from a knee surgery.

So magical to have a hotel pool full of shrieking children.

Cheeseburger Bombs

Cheeseburger Bombs are appropriately named because they exploded on the pan.

The blue aspect paid off in one game in three rounds. Rest of time it felt like “here’s my opening hand, can you beat it?” And then slow top decking while waiting to lose.

3 rounds of paper Vintage today, didn’t go as well as last time but I still enjoy getting out and seeing friends.

Another silver lining is that I got to try a deck that looked appealing (Jewel Shops) but I now know is NOT for me.

Exactly, that’s why I like better.

They had a separate UK Celebrity Traitors this year and was actually well done. I only knew 5 of the 19 people, but overall it’s better focusing on strategy vs personality I guess?

I’ll tell her you posted a Traitors meme, further cementing your friendship.

Wife LOVES Traitors, has got me watching it too. However every iteration of UK version are better than US. Haven’t tried the Australia or NZ ones.

Last week I went to help my mom setup her new modem/router. And once cable was restored, THAT was the show she put on.

Got some X-rays on my foot. Doc sending me for referral to decide between a Freiburg Infarction or Morton’s neuroma. Never great when it’s something with a proper name instead of ‘take some ibuprofen and put ice on it’

Looks like ‘dance music while cooking’ will be discontinued going forward

Swapped in rotisserie chicken. Also added a can of diced tomatoes. This is the best batch I have ever made.
