In the Virginia General Assembly, I fought to keep toll costs low and introduced legislation that saved Virginians $1,150 a year. The Virginia Supreme Court upheld that legislation just weeks ago. I have taken that battle to lower costs for Virginians with me into Congress.

Gotta celebrate the wins too. This time we prevented toll increases.

This President campaigned on releasing the Epstein files, which would prove a deep state conspiracy. So I sent a letter last month asking Pam Bondi to release them and got stonewalled.

Either the President and Bondi are lying about this conspiracy or they are covering up for the President.

Reading through the Big Ugly Bill, and seeing lots of giveaways to Republican Senators. Like this one: A provision to move the space shuttle Discovery from the Smithsonian in Virginia to Space Center in Texas. The cost of the move to taxpayers? $85 million (!)

One of the co-authors of Project 2025 is finally admitting this administration is following Project 2025. At least someone is being honest.

We must protect every person's constitutional right to a fair trial.

We aren’t prepared for natural disasters, and DOGE firings and Trump saying we should “wean off FEMA” will only make things worse.

There are ways to government better and more efficient. But blindly cutting essential federal people, programs, and research makes waste, fraud, and abuse worse and undermines every American's prosperity, health, and safety.

@oversightdemocrats.house.gov and I asked for a motion to subpoena DOGE to testify & answer to the American people about their illegal actions.

Our motion was held up because Republicans didn't show up to committee. If they showed up to work that would make the government more... efficient ‼️

The consistent attacks on our federal workforce have created a brain drain in our federal government that is already hurting every American.

This tax scam they call the “big beautiful bill” is going to take away access to care and dignity for 13.7 million Americans and add $4 trillion to the debt.

The work done in our federal government is crucial to our country's success.

In today’s Oversight Committee, I pressed Republicans on how Trump’s team dropping war plans in a Signal chat put us all at risk.

Texting your boss instead of your bestie is an accident—this was a massive security failure.

Had to give a crash course in Phone Hacking 101 today because our national security advisors seem to have no idea that messages can be hacked even when using encrypted apps like Signal. ‼️

Never discuss classified military operations on a public messaging app. It’s just that simple.

Secretary Hegseth and the Trump Administration failed Americans and put our troops lives at risk.

They should assure us this will never happen again and Secretary Hegseth should resign.

Next they'll be sliding into your DMs with nuclear launch codes.

The Administration’s plans to make the Department of Veterans Affairs efficient? Firing veterans with exemplary work and service records who do great work serving our veterans.

This doesn’t make government more efficient. It hurts ALL veterans and breaks the promise our country made to them.

Here’s the reality on the ground. The Trump Administration is:
❌ Telling seniors to come to Social Security offices if they have issues with benefits
❌ Then closing Social Security offices
❌ Then firing the people who answer your calls/process benefits

They are cutting social security by requiring in-person appointments and then firing so many caseworkers that the social security office cancels those appointments.

We already have reports of several cancelled appointments.

Seniors deserve better.
