I don't know how feasible it is, but part of me wants to try to do an Age of Empires ambiance vid where I let the computer play against itself with just the soundtrack going. Like an RTS nerd marble run.

Well it's official, as of today the YouTube channel is more popular than the Twitch channel!

Getting things set up to record in 4K really helped this past week. Gonna work on adding some new games to the schedule as well.

Passed my certification exam today so we're celebrating tonight with a Hades 2 stream. My first time playing!

We'll also see if being offline so long bit me in the ass.

Found some camera mods that will allow uninterrupted recording 🎉

Streaming will resume in the beginning of October. Been busy fixing some recording issues, studying for a cert, and working on some projects that might make it on stream later (like teaching a clanker to play Sim City 3000).

Can't wait to finally play it, though I still have a bunch to unlock in the first Hades still. Mostly just weapon upgrades and cosmetics, but that's a fair amount of work to 100%

Oh and more Tiny Glade, though that one is by far the least viewed. Not that I'm hung up on numbers, I have just been using that as a metric to decide what to record next in the absence of any sort of requests/engagement in the comments (which Starfield and Dystopika are again neck and neck on.)

Starfield Ambiance has been far more popular than Skyrim on my channel, but what surprised me more is that Dystopika w/less vids has quickly caught up to Starfield in views. 1,020 & 1,027

So today I'm working on a new Dystopika vid 😅 but tbf there was/is a bunch of Starfield vids on the way already

Extra surprising to me that the Starfield ones do better than the Skyrim ones. Though admittedly the Skyrim ambiance market is pretty saturated.

I am grateful but it is hilarious to me that my Starfield/Skyrim ambiance videos do so much better than anything else on my channel. Apparently the less involved I am, the better (mostly joking).

Was all excited I finished my first 12hr video and my capture software inexplicably goes and condenses it to ~90 minutes. Then I checked my other long recordings and found it did the same damn thing to anything over 4hrs. 🫠

It's been fun getting the install modded and working out the kinks "filming." The first tests should pop up on the channel today.

Keeping looking at the #Otakon activity list and I can't decide wtf I want to do! Doesn't help I'm a first timer.
