This isn’t to say he’s been as good against PIT as he is vs the rest of the league, but the AFC North is a tough div and it’s a tough rivalry. The games are scrappy, but he’s done enough to put his team in a winning position. It’s clear the TEAM AS A WHOLE has to perform better against the Steelers.

Always feel like he’s been misprofiled, probably because of his build/frame and people are unable to rate a player fairly because of their own pre conceived notions of what a player playing a certain position should look like

On top of that, when you consider the seven drops (two in the endzone) from the first 2023 game, or them losing by 2pts earlier this season despite 2 fumbles and Tucker’s missed FGs, you realise he could easily be 3-2 or 2-3 vs the Steelers, and it becomes a non-story.

I think Gabriel Jesus is the better player, but the discourse around it stems from Richarlison’s confidence in being Brazil’s No. 9, whereas Jesus seemed hesitant to fully embrace that burden. I think that hesitation is what ultimately influenced Tite’s decision at the time too
