I think Hades 1&2 does this very well. From the jump, you are told what we are doing and given base tools to complete the task. Story and toolset expand over time and keep the motivation up in hopes that your next run is THE run.

One of my friends modded a Gameboy for their young child. It’s really a great way to introduce kids to gaming without having an internet connection.

Honestly, I would probably go back to doing non-profit work. It was stressful, but rewarding work. Being able to help ppl advocate for themselves with their government officials is always needed. Brain-scrambling, but needed.

Today is my last day at Blizzard! Working with the World of Warcraft team has been such a fun, positive experience. I can't wait for players to see what we made together. Now I'm looking for my next role in games, full time or contract, indie or AAA. You can check out my portfolio on my website! 🖤

You could get custom tokens. Or get some custom art cards of their favorite cards. Those are alway great.

You could also get some custom 3D printed accessories to use in gameplay. Like custom counters.

Knowing their preferred format could also open up additional options.

Turn 9: Play Jarad and pass turn.

Turn rotation: Pray everyone looks at the board of dragons an opponent has and leaves Jarad alone.

Turn 10: Play Lord of Extinction as a 54/54 and sac to Jarad’s ability to knock everyone out in one shot.😎
