Retroactively, and a shocker, I’ve needed sobriety for a long time. I’m so happy with the clarity and confidence I have into the next chapters of my life, and it feels cathartic to finally forgive and stop punishing myself with horrible poisons. Feel more alive than ever. Onward.

On the bright side I’m more motivated to play rhythm games and improve. I feel like I can actually lock in and score more, and my anxiety has lessened when I play. Overall do feel physically healthier :3

The numb apathy chapter of the sobriety sure is tough. Turns out you can’t just displace your problems into a bottle or anything, and quitting drinking didn’t magically cure everything. Not surprised but I didn’t know I’d be this numb. Proud, just not really excited for much. Finding peace hopefully
