I, too, have a large amount of yarn. But, as I have explained to sweet husband. The collecting of yarn, and the knitting of said yarn are two completely different hobbies.

The knitting isn’t ACTUALLY integral to the recipe. Any other activity you can squeeze into 5 minutes will work….

But I highly recommend finding your nearest local yarn store and learning to knit. 🧶 🤣

Set a timer for 5 minutes. Knit until it goes off. Turn. Set a timer for 5 minutes. Knit until it goes off. Eat perfect sammie.

Set it up like you would for a griddle. I usually put it on a sheet of parchment right on the rack. Fry at 380 (my frier’s default) 5 min per side.
