We are a sanctuary city. This is horrific for our kids and families.

Exactly. There’s always room for improvement. But it’s not the dumpster fire some typical haters like to assume it is. That was just the school board of 2020.😆

Good read. It's infuriating to listen to the insulting rhetoric about the schools. There are problems and those who stay aren't saying there aren't. However the answer isn't to throw one's hands up and insult the system without ever walking through the doors.

I had an email conversation with him. He doesn't understand the district and it shows. @sfstandard.com when you report on something as complicated as SFUSD the people involved need to understand some basics. There was no balance. Everyone involved never sent their children to the schools. We did/are
