I think that the quislings know that the promises of Republicans can't be trusted, so they're not naive or stupid... they simply DO NOT CARE about their constituents or the country, only their big owners... I mean, donors.

There were plenty more comments, but I figured I should get away from FB before my luck ran out. Although I miss interacting with most of my FB friends, choosing not to scroll there was an act of self care that has helped me a lot. At least I almost never have to see political garbage on IG.

Usually, looking at the comments section is a HUGE mistake on FB or Twitter, but in this case, I didn't see a single comment that went the way that the OP believed it would. Every single comment called him out, most humorously, for being an ignorant bigot.

One of the reasons that I left Facebook (besides Zuckerberg's sucking up to Great Orange Leader, as well as implemented algorithms that shove propaganda, lies, AI, and right-wing pages in my face) was that I got sick of seeing posts like this from ignorant fools and bots...

Jonathan Frid was very patient with the more than 3-hour process for special effects make-up artist Dick Smith to apply the prosthetics and appliances. When I first saw this, Frid's appearance reminded me of Dustin Hoffman in "Little Big Man" (1970), and I learned that Smith created that look, too.

"Dark Shadows" episode 349 was recorded on October 20, 1967. In the episode, Barnabas (Jonathan Frid) has aged rapidly after a treatment from Dr. Julia Hoffman (Grayson Hall). The show has long been mocked affectionately for its corny practical special effects, but this makeup was truly impressive.

I vote for Dems because at least the platforms they espouse are more idealistic, inclusive, and progressive, but most of them don't have any strength or courage. If I believed in Christian mythology, I would say that Republicans were put here by the devil, but I don't believe in ancient fairytales.

Democrats on Capitol Hill seem to love snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. Their spineless capitulation, inaction, and ineffectuality are the reasons why I've never had the slightest desire to register as a Democrat.
