Gotta mix them all together, along with a bottle of grain alcohol, into one cocktail.

This instantly brought to mind the way that I felt after "last call" at Badlands in DC back in the mid-'90s.

2015 *might* have been soon enough, but anything from this point on is much too late.

"Who gives a f*ck about Christmas?" - First Lady Melancholia Drumpf

This lovely quote chokes me up, so talk amongst yourselves for a moment. I'll give you a topic... Melancholia Drumpf is neither "first" (at least not with her husband) nor is she a "lady". Discuss.

This is exactly the kind of numbers manipulation that Agent Orange wants in his misadministration.

The only way Melancholia felt anything during that encounter was if Epstein's plane hit massive turbulence.

A friend of mine who lives in Austin saw this at a bar and said she had never been so offended by something she 100% agreed with.

Oooooh, they're certainly "owning" all of us with these jokes, aren't they? I personally don't know a single person who has had a meltdown about the Sydney Sweeney thing. But trying to upset at least half the country is all that these people live for now, and it's why they voted for Agent Orange.

Don't they refer to anyone who is even slightly to the left of Mussolini as "far left"? Without looking at a person's record, it's kind of impossible to know who really is "far left" anymore. To Republicans and mainstream media today, FDR, LBJ, and even Richard Nixon would be considered "far left".

It's so bizarre to me that this wasn't blatantly obvious to ANYONE... for the past decade or longer.

The list of "historical figures who may have been invented entirely" includes some who indisputably existed, which is kind of bizarre. Even if some of the details of Sybil Ludington's ride during the Revolutionary War may have been exaggerated (like those of Paul Revere), she definitely existed.

A few days ago I saw a slideshow feature about historical figures who probably never existed, and today the same site offers up a slideshow of legendary characters who actually existed in real life. Funny thing is... both lists include Robin Hood, Mulan, Lycurgus, and King Arthur.

I'm very fortunate to have had the opportunity to see the original cast of "Oh, Mary!" on Broadway, but I'm definitely looking forward to seeing it again with this new cast: Jinkx Monsoon (Mary), Kumail Nanjiani (Mary's Husband), Michael Urie (Mary's Teacher) and Jenn Harris (Mary's Chaperone).

How can anyone be stupid enough to believe this? If drug prices were cut 100%, that would mean that they're now free. If they're cut 1,500%, then that would mean that pharmaceutical companies would be paying people thousands of dollars to take their drugs. How idiotic can these MAGA cult morons be?!

The vile cretin who currently occupies the Oval Office recently forced the Smithsonian Institution to remove his name from an exhibit about impeachments, which is obviously his way of trying to erase his own history, but we will NEVER forget, just as we won't forget about the Epstein files.

Many of the men on this list have long been seen for what they were. This doesn't erase their achievements, but we should know about their flaws and should debunk myths. Nothing is as simple as we'd been taught, and humans are complex creatures, but there's nothing wrong with identifying truths.

Few of these perspectives or details are groundbreaking, and the list is bound to irk right-wingers, who HATE when their historical idols are reexamined objectively, claiming that people are trying to "erase history", which they think is SO wrong, except, you know, when their latest idol does it.

Buffalo Bill sold America its own fantasy. His Wild West pageants blurred genocide and entertainment, casting Native Americans as villains or background elements. Yes, he hired them... but only to restage their loss. Historical theater paid well, especially when the truth was just bad marketing.

Robert E. Lee's uniform was gray, but his image got whitewashed. The Confederate general fought fiercely, not for strategy's sake, but for slavery's. Postwar legends recast him as reluctant, noble, and tragic, but he betrayed the Union and used enslaved labor on his own Virginia estate until defeat.

Richard the Lionheart taxed England heavily to fund foreign wars and was more interested in using Jerusalem for glory and show than for any deep religious purpose. In Acre, he massacred 2,700 prisoners. Bravery on crusade meant little to the homeland he barely ruled.

Ego met ambition in uniform. General Douglas MacArthur wanted total victory in Koreaβ€”even nuclear strikes. When President Truman dismissed him in 1951, the general returned to parades, not the Pentagon. Theatrics masked overreach. He won battles, yes, but sometimes forgot who commanded the war.

Before the praise and Hollywood shine, there was policy decay. Ronald Reagan's fight against drugs ballooned prison populations, his economic strategy enriched the top tier while slashing social programs, and he ignored the AIDS epidemic. Public approval can fade, but policy fallout doesn't.
