A few rounds of storms tomorrow. Both commutes will be affected along with outdoor plans. Poor drainage flooding and strong storms are possible, an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out #CTwx #Connecticut

Welcomed rain this week could also re-energize some of the waterfalls, at least temporarily. Might make for some good foliage pics in areas that are turning!

Great write up! Really interesting set up. As for western CT into the Berkshires, an onshore wind component will also aid in some orographic enhancement. That makes the 2-4” totals even more possible, perhaps even likely reaching at least the low end of the scale

Snow tonight with accumulation possible in the high elevations of CT. We do it again again late tomorrow night into Saturday morning, which is another First Alert Weather Day! Very chilly and gloomy to begin the weekend

Means the opposite lol. For what it’s worth, our average high does climb well into the 60s by the end of the month. So this will not last forever and “below average” could still be milder than now. But a chance at 70 seems unlikely for at least 10 days, if not longer

The Space Weather Prediction Center has issued a G2 magnetic storm watch for tomorrow! There's a chance we might be able to see the Northern Lights locally, weather permitting. Long exposure photography would be the best bet tomorrow night #ctwx #aurora
