Related to conversations around singing in Wicked, I just feel like since the pandemic, people forgot how to go to the movies. The amount of people on their phones, talking, singing, is astounding.

idk how hot a take this is but I'd like if AAA games were developed within the limitations of previous gen hardware so they can run smoother on current gen

not everything needs to push the machine to its limits, we can use all that extra power just to allow them play good

I feel like videogames actually do provide a pretty accurate representation of real life right now because a lot of videogames are like “THE WORLD IS ENDING” and then you just collect herbs and pretend nothing is wrong

I think the real Game Awards controversy is the fact that Richard Lintern didn’t get nominated for his voice acting performance as Igon in Shadow of the Erdtree. Disgrace.

Question is, does this meet square's sales expectations?

I feel like some people think a video game has a good story if it has a story at all.

Patiently awaiting what comes next from Motion Twin as the game is still in early access so a lot can change!

The latter is mainly an issue to do with the fact that it’s designed more like Dead Cells rather than Hades, wherein you don’t choose a weapon at the start of a run and you are not stuck with said weapon for the whole run. This of course encourages variety so its not “objectively” worse or anything.

My main gripes so far would have to be 1) how most gifts don’t drastically alter your playstyle run by run.
And 2) unlocking more weapons will up the chances of the weapons you don’t like to drop in your run.

Windblown is pretty good. I have yet to grasp the game fully, as i haven’t unlocked everything yet.
However i will say it feels VERY good once you get in the groove of things. After playing for a bit (esp. with melee weapons) you get in this “zen state” where you are dashing, weaving and striking
