can’t lie, last night was not my best work but that client was so difficult and couldn’t explain to me what they actually wanted so :/

had a silk press tonight and my client told me i did better than the salon she went to last week 🥹 she said from the shampoo all the way through the press, trim, and curl that i did amazing and she could tell my heart was in it. i’m so so proud of myself!

What truly fills me with despair is how Americans are fine with this — even happy about it, enthused at any degradation of immigrants.
