Had a good day today at Bempton - first sighting was a pod of 20-30 Dolphins, lots of Fulmar flying around along with some Gannets, plus Red-throated Diver, Short-eared Owl, Barn Owl and finished off with a Woodcock @rspbbemptoncliffs.bsky.social

Pleased it decided to stay!

I've been putting out apples for a few weeks in the hope of attracting it back - obviously worked! Blackbirds are eating the ones on the ground.

It was a last minute decision to drive down to see if there were any owls about so pleased to pick it up - was distant - video taken through the scope.
