I’m pretty sure Catcher in the Rye was there. I can’t remember if To Kill a Mockingbird was.

I do remember being proud to be part of something that stood for something. I was only 20 at the time.

When I worked for Waldenbooks around 1986, we had a “Banned Book Week” where we featured books that were considered to be banned. I think it had something to do with the Meese Commission.

US citizens can go to many countries w/o visa but they cannot stay. Each country has rules for how long you can stay. In entire Schengen area you can only stay 90 days within 180 day period. I’ve done the country hopping. It’s exhausting. Some exceptions - investing in real estate, etc.
