Our structure determination of a dopamine-binding DNA aptamer yielded surprising results. The structure had only 2 Watson-Crick base pairs, but lots of base pairs normally only seen in RNA folds. Check out our crazy DNA structure in the recent bioRxiv preprint, along with other binding details.

Quantifying metabolites using structure-switching aptamers coupled to DNA sequencing - Nature Biotechnology
Metabolites can be quantified using a combination of aptamers and DNA barcodes.
We are looking to hire:
1. Skilled molecular biologist, specific expertise in SELEX or aptamers
2. Computational biologist wanting to take deep seq training data to crack the aptamer-target prediction problem
