Outdoor Service Guides is an alternative scouting program based primarily on the idea that scouting is for everybody, working to build strong, compassionate leaders who understand the importance of unity, respect, and shared responsibility.

Today, we honor Juneteenth—a day of liberation, remembrance, and resilience marking when freedom reached the last enslaved Black Americans. While we celebrate, we also recognize the incomplete, ongoing fight for equity and justice. 1/2

In 2009, President Barack Obama signed a bill designating the Friday after Thanksgiving as “Native American Heritage Day.”
