If you have not read, played, or otherwise experienced Wanderhome please do yourself a favor and do so! It is a truly beautiful, stunning game that completely transformed what I thought an RPG could be.

One more: post WWII, when they were drafting the Universal Declaration of Human Rights there was initially no distinction between Human Rights and Civil Rights (they were both covered). But southern states pushed back, saying they would block ratification in the US unless civil rights were removed.

Similarly, the reason the US refused to ratify the Genocide Convention was concern that it would be used against them for their current treatment of African Americans.

I know Ancient Greek and can confidently say this is far harder to wrap your head around. 🙂

I read the text and my first thought was, “And?”

Granted, I work at a desk, so everyone eats while working, but I can’t understand people’s need to police each other over stuff like this.

Five years ago today Asheville police responded to an unruly march with violence sparking multiple nights of rioting in a city where people are normally hesitant to even take the streets.

I am convinced that peanut butter is the perfect food and can talk at length as to why. Short version: it is delicious, shelf-stable, provides a balance of fat, carbs, and protein, and goes sweet or savory equally well.

I have 100% had commander games I would’ve played Blessing of the Priest in. I feel like I’d keep it in each deck, just in case the game goes on too long.

I totally understand your point, though I’d argue that while the status isn’t being changed without the patient’s knowledge (as the original post made it sound), using their position to pressure patients into changing it definitely isn’t consent. They’re certainly different but not wildly so.

Asking for co-authorship credit on something I single-handedly wrote because I was “only a graduate student.” I don’t think the professor who put his name on it ever even read it in its entirety.

As a rule I never watch trailers if I’m planning on seeing the movie, but I watched this one because I needed the hope and optimism. Definitely made the right choice and now I have so many feelings.

Amazing! Can’t wait to check it out! Will there be a print version?
