Ann grabs the bone and launches into a lengthy and excessively nerdy scientific monologue about the bone which I guess is specfically an animal tooth.

Ann admires Topher's animal teeth as she caresses his mouth. a caption says "you are aware of the difference in your being. your mind does not work as other minds do. you apologize for the very act of existing."
