Noem was preceded in this false statement by Stephen Miller, Deputy White House Chief of Staff, who is also the architect of the chaotic and failed immigration policy in Minnesota. "Our demand is clear: Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, who was responsible for carrying out the policy that led to Alex's needless killing, and Deputy White House Chief of Staff Stephen Miller, the architect of that policy, must resign immediately. Yesterday I visited #USSArizona World War II. Memorial. It was humbling experience. A beautiful morning, as it was on Dec 7, 1941, until the Japanese army attacked.

Just finished 5+ hours visit to #BishopMuseum in Honolulu. intense learning! Excellent exhibitions. My head is spinning from trying to absorb so much information.

Alex, like Renee Good, was doing what the times are calling on decent people to be doing- defending our neighbors, our community, the vulnerable population who are being targeted by The Trump fascist regime. For that he was killed.
