I was just talking yesterday to a colleague about the importance of helping new students to settle into the challenges of studying in the first 3-4 weeks at university.

The damage that TwXter has done to British national discourse is obvious when politicians and their advisors talk about DEI and other strongly-US focused talking points. They can't even get the letters in the order we generally use them in the UK.

Education as both a window and a mirror.

Particularly important to think about what problem the AI is meant to be solving, and to involve practitioners and patients in the testing of the tech in actual settings, not just simulations.

This adds a lot of meaning to my Merlin bird call app.

This is very much the case, especially in science-themed books. I'd like to see picturebooks where diversity is important but also incidental to a cracking story.
