Today I felt like drawing something rough and imperfect…capturing my injury and bruising while showing that I’m slowly healing. To anyone who’s ever experienced this, I’m so sorry.

My whole life, I’ve been a dog person and now I’m absolutely terrified. I have a hard time being outside alone for long periods of time and I have been having panic attacks. I can hardly look at a large dog without getting a flight/freeze response.

It was my neighbor’s German Shepard that got out and was harassing an older man and his toddler grandson. I went out to help and the dog turned on me. I’ve mostly healed from the injury but it left me with Acute Stress Disorder that will officially become PTSD if it persists for 4 more months.
