It's my go-to shirt for conference presentations.

Old Navy missed a trick with this one. If they had used this fabric to make dresses *with" *pockets*, they would have made a million dollars (just from field biologists/primatologists alone).

Had a great time at @fossilconference.bsky.social! It's good to check in occasionally to see what the psychologists are up to. Nice to see some good (and fun!) evolutionary social science being done, and to meet some new folks.

Here I am at the very end of #FOSSIL2025, getting ready to drive home.

Perhaps the one drawback to living in the same town as Jane and being her student is that I never got a card after she asked me to do my first review as a grad student! I feel cheated!

If it's the right decision, it's the right decision. Always better to realize that sooner rather than later.

Thanks! Yes, the first thing I did was look up a colleague who'd left Twitter, followed her and then scrolled through everyone she followed. A lot of familiar faces in there!

Finally made the long-delayed leap over here from that other place. Any suggestions on who to follow, related to bioanth, family demography, human behavioral ecology, primatology, etc.?
