It is, ironically, a very timely game. Despite taking place so many decades after its actual setting. It's such a deliberate choice, and it asks the audience to analyze it. BUT NO I GUESS SOME ARE JUST TOO BUSY DECLARING IT'S NOT A *REAL* SILENT HILL GAME I GUESS???

They absolutely are! Though some apparently get real upset when the metaphor is being pointed out to them. As if it wasn't already obvious.

I swear to god some have made a whole career out of hating fiction as a concept.

Guess what? ALL fiction is fictional! Does that undermine the impact it has on its characters? Does it lessen the impact it has on you as an audience member? NO????

Being upset about a piece of fiction being mostly metaphorical, eventually revealing itself to have been playing out inside the mind of its protagonist, is so silly to me. Like... why is that *inherently* bad? Meet the art where it fucking is, jesus christ!!

I'm only two minutes into a video about Silent Hill f and I'm seriously fighting the urge to make my first response video.

I'm not doing it, but HOW THE HELL do you miss the entire point of the game in that amount of time???

I didn't know about this Signal For Help hand gesture until today. I'm quite sure that a lot of other people don't know it either (as demonstrated in this video). If you just learned it now too then it was worth posting.

Been adding a bunch of stuff to the Silent Hill f script. For being a game with such a blatant message, it's been one of the trickiest video scripts I've ever written.

I’m really happy people are enjoying the video. As you might’ve been able to tell…it was very personal. Truth be told it’s only half the story, I’m still dealing with the mental scars left behind by the experiences I describe, the self hatred, the fear of rejection.

While not a real catastrophe, the only other entry in this cinematic universe that already exists, that I can currently come up with, is Final Destination 5.

Of those three... I think I'd be closer to number 2.

Though more likely I'd be a cursed mix of the three.

I should've become a music video director because so often I'll listen to a song and my brain has these oddly specific thoughts like "this line makes me think of someone turning a corner" or "this is giving slow motion vibes".

Out of all the unfinished projects I've ever worked on I think the one that might be the most surprising to my current audience might be my parody series based on Mad Men.

I've been real interested in giving the Sylvio games a shot myself.

Hitting that balance has kinda been my main goal ever since I started my current YT channel. Though nowadays I'd like to think I'm *way more* mindful of artistic intention. For example I think I was way more positive regarding Silent Hill: The Short Message because of that.

Well ain't that a publisher that no longer have the right to the first three letters of their company name.
