Right, and if your Dr. gives you a prescription for a drug and you decide to take it, that’s exactly how it works. Drugs aren’t created until there is a reason or need for them. The drug doesn’t come first, the medical issue does.

It’s what happens with all types of medical conditions, diabetes, alcoholism, heart disease, obesity. Many are preventable. Who’s the person going to be to mandate one condition being more worthy of medication than another?

You actually think most type 2 diabetics aren’t responsible for their diabetes? The food choices they make and not exercising play a huge role in a type 2 diabetics diagnosis. What’s the difference between this and a person on it for weight loss?
